1. Proposal to Modernize Regulatory Requirements for Part VII – Notices under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
All workplaces covered by the OHSA are required to provide notice and reports to the MLTSD and/or other specified workplace parties (such as the Joint Health and Safety Committee) of any fatalities, critical injuries, occupational illnesses and other prescribed incidents or occurrences at the workplace (Part VII – Notices: Sections 51 to 53.1, OHSA).
