Approved Regulations

 

School Health Professional Services – Regulation 386/99 – Home Care and Community Services Act, 1994

 

This Regulation was amended to remove physiotherapy services, occupational therapy services and speech-language pathology services from the definition of “school health professional services” but only in relation to the provision of these services by the Local Health Integration Networks (“LHINS”) in publicly funded school.  The Ministry of Children and Youth Services will be responsible for these services, and the LHINs will continue to provide these services to children in private schools and children being home-schooled. This amendment to the Regulation will be effective on Sept 28, 2018.
